I plan on doing more posts like this, they are simple, but I find very helpful. They will help you learn more about different types of essential oils, what they do, and how you can use them in your daily lives. Today’s post is about Cedar wood essential oil.
Cedar wood has a rich hue and warm, woody scent. It is steam distilled from it’s wood. Cedar wood blends well with Bergamot, Juniper Berry, and Cypress essential oils. Cedar wood grows in in cold climates in high altitudes and can grow up to 100 ft tall.
The primary benefits from using Cedar wood essential oil are: supports and maintains healthy respiratory function, helps skin recover quickly, promotes clear, healthy skin, relaxing and soothing aroma is perfect for massage therapy.
You can use Cedar wood essential oil aromatically and topically. For possible skin sensitivity dilution is recommended.
